Founded in 2002, Waxing Poetic jewelry, charms, candles, and general amusements come to you from Carpinteria, California, by way of designer Patti Pagliei Simpson, her sister Lizanne Pagliei Hales and their splendid team of like-minded artists, dreamers, adventurers, and raconteurs.

Waxing Poetic is a brand built by (and for) idealists. We see a dedication to the principles of love, fairness, compassion, and a deep-seated belief in the interconnectivity of all things as fundamentals: essential components of our creative process, company culture, and overall brand ethic. We make things we love, and hope you like them too.

We also have 2 retail locations one is located in the small charming beach town Summerland, CA and the other is in Los Olivos, CA, a charming small town located in Santa Ynez Valley.We are always on the lookout for creative, talented, passionate, resourceful people to join the Waxing Poetic team!

Designers

Waxing Poetic's growing innovative creative team is always looking for their next superstar Designer. The ideal designer has excellent Photoshop, Illustrator and typography skills, and is familiar with the jewelry, accessories and gift market. Knowledge of fashion, culture, architecture and art history is a plus. If you have a love of wonderful vintage finds and understanding of heirloom-type jewelry, metal work, antique fabrications, historical styles, old engravings / etchings, with a talent for putting these things all together into new and meaningful concepts and designs, we would love to meet you! Both freelance and in-house positions will be considered.
